I have worked for more than 10 years in libraries and currently I am the Head Librarian at Americashare https://americashare.org/ Community Library which is a non-governmental organization that is dedicated to improve the lives of children of Mukuru one the largest slum in Nairobi by providing access to information through free access to information by provision of a library and a computer centre. I head all the operations of the community library. One of my biggest achievement is reaching out to more users from the ages of 5 years to 25 years to access the library by creating programs that encourage them to access the library. I have also implemented educational sessions with local schools which engage younger students on health and education through learning with fun (music, games) and introduced reading clubs to help create a reading culture.

This user is a focus group participant for Wiki Loves Women.
