Population

In Azerbaijan there are more than 45.000 Rutuls. Today, total population of Rutuls in the world - more than 97 500 people. Where these huge numbers come from? Due to the official census in Azerbaijan SSR in 1989 there were 336 Rutuls. What is the source for such numbers? Bests, Ali-al-Bakuvi (talk) 18:18, 4 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Rutuls in Azerbajan - 17 000 (2000)[1].
Azerbaijani government hostile to all indigenous peoples (except Azerbaijanis) of this region. Azerbaijan - is occupied lands of Rutul, Talysh, Udin and other peoples and appropriated the history of these nations. It is not surprising that Azerbaijan understates or ignores some number of minorities. Umar.Albani (talk) 07:16, 9 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
