Sachin Ravi is an Indian film director, screenwriter, editor, colorist, and VFX artist who works in Kannada cinema. He rose to fame following the success of his directorial debut Avane Srimannarayana(2019).[1][2]

Career

Sachin met Suni, during his debut film Simple Agi Ondh Love Story. Suni gave Sachin the opportunity to handle the edit of his film and that was his first stint in films. After watching his work, Rakshit Shetty offered Sachin the chance to edit the film Ulidavaru Kandanthe. Sachin then worked as a technician on other films such as Bahuparak (2014), Halfmentlu (2014), Siddhartha (2015), Simple Aag Innond Love Story (2016), Godhi Banna Sadharana Mykattu (2016), Operation Alamelamma (2017), and Kirik Party (2016). In 2019, Sachin made his debut as a director. His first film was Avane Srimannarayana,[3][4] a fantasy adventure comedy in which a police officer attempts to solve the mystery behind a lost treasure. In November 2020, Sachin announced that he would next be directing Shiva Rajkumar in a film based on the character of Ashwattama.[5][6]
