Katja Keitaanniemi (b. 1973) is a Finnish business executive and Licentiate of Science in Technology. She has worked as OP Corporate Bank’s President and CEO since 2018 [2] and is a member of OP Cooperative’s Executive Management Team.[3] Large Finnish corporations selected OP Corporate Bank as Finland’s best corporate bank in 2020.[4][5]

Keitaanniemi also acts Chair of the Board of Directors of OP Asset Management, Vice Chair of OP Art Foundation’s Board and a member of the Board of OP Financial Group Research Foundation and of OP Retail Customers Plc.[6] In addition, she is a member of the Board of EPI (European Payments Initiative) and of The Unico Banking Group Executive Committee. [7][8]

Before her current position, Keitaanniemi was Finnvera Oyj’s Executive Vice President, Small and medium-sized enterprises and member of the Executive Group between 2014 and 2018. Keitaanniemi had also acted at Swedbank as Senior Vice President, Head of Investment Banking Finland and Member of Management Group of Global IB and SVP, Head of Research, Member of Executive Group.[9] Before her career in Swedbank, Keitaanniemi was Director of Research at eQ Bank and Senior Analyst at Nordea Securities, Forest and Paper Products.[10]

Keitaanniemi has been a member of the Audit and HR Committee of Finavia’s Board of Directors [11] and a member of the Board of Directors of Business Finland, Montreal Group, Kasvu Open, and Sotkamo Silver. [12][13]

Keitaanniemi is on the list of Finland’s most powerful female executives 2021 by the business weekly Talouselämä.[14]
