Fish upon the Sky (Template:Lang-th; RTGS: Pla Bon Fah) is a 2021 Thai television series starring Naravit Lertratkosum (Pond) and Phuwin Tangsakyuen (Phuwin). The series is based on the novel of the same name by JittiRain. JittiRain also created the hit novel-turned-series Theory of Love and 2gether: The Series (along with its sequels Still 2gether and 2gether: The Movie)

Directed by Sakon Wongsinwiset (Golf) and produced by GMMTV, the series is one of sixteen television series of GMMTV's offering for 2021 during their "GMMTV 2021: The New Decade Begins" event on 3 December 2020.[1][2][3] The series premiered on GMM 25 and LINE TV on 09 April 2021,[4] airing on Fridays at 20:30 ICT and 22:30 ICT, respectively.[5]

Summary

Pi, a nerdy second-year dentistry student, has a secret crush on Muang Nan, a kind-hearted and handsome fellow 2nd-year student in the Allied Health Sciences Department. Along with Nan's warm and kind personality, Pi is not confident enough about his looks and he felt helpless. He asks his older brother Duean with his Kitty Gang an advise and help him get a makeover from a nerdy-boy transformed into a handsome, stylish look to have enough confidence to woo Nan. When Pi finally has the confidence to confess to Nan, he meets Mork, an attractive medical student that appeared from nowhere, and also attempting to get Nan's feelings.

Pi felt discouraged and hopeless trying to surpass Mork. He tried to call in help from his older brother, but instead of helping, Duean met Meen, a fresher student who makes Duean's life a mess. Therefore, he can't help the plan surpassing Mork's attempt in getting Nan's attention, he tried to face it alone but he is not lucky enough to beat him. However, everything starts to change as Pi begins experiencing different kind of feelings towards Mork, making it more confusing for him. Will he continue to pursue his confession to Nan? Or a new love will blossom towards Mork?[6]

  • Phuwin Tangsakyuen as Pattawee "Pi" Panichapun - A nerdy second-year Dentistry student who is a introvert, complicated person, unsporty, too focused on studies, anti-social and he doesn't care about his looks like having a thick glasses and braces, reasons why he being bullied. But because of this, he decided to change into a hot and handsome guy to be fitted with his crush, Muang Nan. Mork's love interest.
  • Naravit Lertratkosum (Pond) as Sutthaya "Mork" Nithikornkul - A hot second-year Medical student who always like to tease Pi. Muang Nan's bestfriend and has a secret crush on Pi. He later revealed that he is "A Guy at the Nearby Faculty".
  • Trai Nimtawat (Neo) as Dollawee "Duean" Panichapun - A sharped-tongue and tight-lipped fifth-year Engineering student. A leader of Kitty Gang, Pi's second older brother and has a crush on Meen.
  • Thanawin Teeraphosukarn (Louis) as Sittha "Meen" Nithikornkul - A first-year med student, Mork's younger brother and later, Duean's love interest.[7]
  • Sahaphap Wongratch (Mix) as Muang Nan - A kind and handsome second-year student of Allied Health Sciences Department, Mork's bestfriend and Pi's crush.

  • Darina Bunchu (Nancy) as Prik Pao - one of the Yaoi Girls, who shipped Pi and Mork.
