Megan Gale
Megan Gale (born 7 August, 1975) is an Australian model who has achieved considerable fame, first in Italy but now equally so in her native Australia.
Born in Wagga, NSW Australia, and is of half British, half Polynesian heritage. She became a model after winning a competition in 1994, and in 1999 became famous in Italy after appearing in a number of commercials for telecommunications company Omnitel (now Vodafone Italy); she appeared in the company's advertising until 2006.
Gale now lives in Lugano, Switzerland for tax reasons. In addition to a job as the face of Australian upmarket department store David Jones, Gale has tried her hand at acting with a part in a film, Stealth, which was released in theatres in 2005.
Her recent hobbies include skiing,surfing, hunting and playing the didgeridoo. During 2005, Gale began publicly dating Australian model Josh Clapp having ended her relationship with Italian model Marzio Canevarolo. She broke up with Clapp in October 2006. She is currently dating Australian radio host/comedian Andy Lee
She is currently working with Mike Munro, the host of the Australian documentary TV show What a Year, which first aired on the Nine Network on October 2, 2006.
