Romain Cannone (12 April 1997) is a French epée fencer and an Olympic gold medalist in individual epée at the 2020 Summer Olympics.Cite error: There are <ref>

As of 2019, when Cannone qualified for the Olympics, he was a student at Skema Business School.[2]
On July 25, 2021, Cannone won the gold medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics (15-10) against the world champion Gergely Siklósi.[3][4] He defeated the Russian Sergey Bida in the quarter-finals (15-12) and the Ukrainian Ihor Reizlin in the semi-finals.[5] Originally, Canonne had not been selected to compete, but On June 18, Cannone was selected to replace Daniel Jérent who had been caught doping in November of 2020.[6]
