Mike Heaton (born Sean William Michael Heaton on 18th September 1967 in Liversedge, West Yorkshire, England)[1] is the drummer for the English band Embrace.

He studied textile design at Huddersfield, and before that attended Heckmondwyke Grammar School

Heaton joined Embrace in 1992 on drums. He is also Director at Code Drum Heads and Director at Drum-Ed

Heaton is also a founding member and drummer/backing vocalist of Land Sharks, formed in 2018. The band also features Embrace bassist Steve Firth.
