Mahamane Ousmane (born January 20, 1950) was a Nigerien political figure. He served as the president of Niger between 27 March 1993 and 27 January 1996. He was the first democratically elected president of Niger, but was deposed in a military coup. He got second place in the July 1996 presidential election, third place in the 1999 presidential election and third place in the November 2004 election with 17.4% of the vote.
