Lampette

[edit]

Took a quick look at your Lampette article. Great start! If you are able to locate a few more citations and clean up the writing a little bit more, you should consider submitting this article to DYK. If accepted, your article will be displayed on the main page of Wikipedia! If this is something that might be of interest to you, please read the rules, especially the time limitation.

If you want to expand the article, please explain the similarities/differences between the competing Lampette, Tensor, and the Lytegem lamps in the marketing media of the time at their height of popularity and their possible interest as collectable retro art of the mid-20th century during the 21st century. Would there be a renewed interest in these type of lamps when fitted with LED replacement bulbs which would eliminate most of the problems associated with this type of lamps.

Please find a better link to United States Patent and Trademark Office. If you need help, please do not hesitate in asking questions at the WP:Teahouse. During the 1960s, Popular Science magazine seems to have published several articles and ads concerning the Lampette, even an ad which shows a Lampette model that could used by automobile back-seat passengers! -- 64.202.138.67 (talk) 01:42, 15 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Try using this, this, or this to replace your dead USPTO link. -- 64.202.138.67 (talk) 02:21, 15 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
