Hello, I'm 1997kB. I noticed that in this edit to Assam University, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. Hi! The reason I made this change was that Assam University is located in Silchar, Southern Assam. This region has predominantly Bengali people and not Assamese. This is to the extent that in Silchar, my hometown, nobody speaks Assamese. Further, the spelling in the indigenous language was in Bangla as well, and not Assamese. The script for both languages is almost identical. I apologize for breaking any rules, it certainly wasn't my intention to do so. I do not know how to verify this demographic fact. I would welcome your suggestions!
