The ninth season of Ang Probinsyano, a Philippine action drama television series, premiered on August 23, 2021 on Kapamilya Channel, A2Z & TV5. The series stars Coco Martin as P/Cpt. Ricardo Dalisay, together with an ensemble cast consisting of Julia Montes, Marela Torre, Joseph Marco, Vangie Labalan, Tommy Abuel, Rosanna Roces and John Estrada.[1][2]
The ninth season of Ang Probinsyano follows Cardo and the Task Force Agila traveling to the north in search for a safe place.
Plot
Following the death of ruthless drug lord Enrique Vera at the hands of Task Force Agila, having avenged the murder of Audrey, the sister of P/Cpt. Lia Mante and daughter of Fernando Mante, Lia's family left the country for Brazil. Cardo and his group travel to the north in search for a new hiding place. Arriving in Vigan for a food stop, a woman in a motorcycle named Mara, who is a regular vlogger, also arrives.
Meanwhile, P/Maj. Albert de Vela of the Black Ops learns that Lia was involved with Cardo and wants to hunt down the Task Force Agila to avenge the deaths of their members who got killed by Cardo, who vows to kill Albert for the death of his wife Alyana. Albert interrogates Berting, the Mante family's servant to demand the whereabouts of Cardo; when Berting refuses to give up their location, Albert kills him.
Lito Valmoria, arch-nemesis of Renato Hipolito, confides to corrupt First Lady Lily Ann Cortez that the drug transaction will be held at the north. Lito had sent one of his subordinates to infiltrate Renato's drug business for information. Diana and Roxanne, pretending as sisters, eventually rent the house and get Agila inside.
Diana and Roxanne pretend to be sisters meanwhile, Armando and his family battles with Art and Don Ignacio's Henchmen but eventually both his parents are die at the hands of Arturo and Don Ignacio swears to revenge on the businessman as Cardo and the rest of Task Force Agila thinks about their new plan againts Albert and his men nothing to stop capture the group and used Berting's death to reaching Cardo and the Task Force Agila.
