Gian Marco Moroni (born 13 February 1998) is an Italiantennis player.
Moroni has a career high ATP singles ranking of World No. 209 achieved on 24 August 2020. He also has a career high ATP doubles ranking of World No. 327 achieved on 20 May 2019.
Moroni made his ATP main draw debut at the 2019 Swiss Open Gstaad after successfully qualifying for the singles main draw. He defeating Luca Margaroli6–3, 6–4 and Marco Trungelliti6–3, 6–2 during qualifying rounds and then upset veteran Spaniard Tommy Robredo in the first round with a 6–2, 6–2 straight sets victory. He was ultimately eliminated in the second round by fifth seed and eventual semi-finalist João Sousa4–6, 4–6. [1]
Moroni has reached four career singles finals, with a record of 1 win and 3 losses which includes a 0–2 record in ATP Challenger finals. Additionally, he has reached 1 career doubles final in which he finished runner-up, at the ITF Futures level.
