About this contest

This contest will specially encourage and motivate experienced and new Wikipedia editors to create articles on senate elections in all the 36 states of Nigeria. Nigeria has conducted senate elections in 1979, 1983, 1992, 1999, 2003, 2007, 2011, 2015 and 2019. But articles about these elections are missing on Wikipedia and this contest will seek to specifically solve this problem. Jury process

Below is the scoring system that will be used in the contest by an unbiased and independent jury to score participants and award eligible winners. The editor with the highest points will be declared overall winner.

2 points for every new article created on the English Wikipedia and duly submitted on this contest page.
1 point for every reliable source used on the created article.

To be eligible for this contest, articles must be created between 1 August 2021 and 31 August 2021.
Unsourced articles are automatically disqualified from this contest.
