Duglas T Stewart (born 30th December 1964) has been the leader of Scottish indie pop collective BMX Bandits since they formed in 1985. His song writing combines childlike whimsy and bittersweet romance with Brian Wilson and European pop influenced melodies. Stewart also released a solo outing Duglas Stewart's Frankenstein in 1995. As well as his work as a musician he acted a presenter and producer of the BBC's indie pop show The Beat Room in the 1990s.
