George V, was hereditary Chief of the Miskitu Nation from 1879-1888.

He was the grandson of H.M. George Frederic Augustus I, and was elected by the General Council to succeed after the death of his cousin William Henry Clarence on 23 May 1879. He was received into the Moravian Church and formally baptized on the day of his proclamation, where he was formally installed as king at Bluefields, on the 17th of June 1879. He was the Colonel-in-Chief of the Royal Bluefields Militia from 1879 to 1888. He also directed "The Miskitu Coast" newspaper from 1887 to 1888. He died on 8th November 1888.[1]
