54th season in franchise history
The 2021 season will be the Cincinnati Bengals ' upcoming 52nd season in the National Football League , their 54th overall and their third under head coach Zac Taylor . They will also be playing in new uniforms for the first time since 2004.[ 1] They will attempt to make the playoffs for the first time since the 2015 season .
In the off-season, long-time Bengals receiver A. J. Green signed with the Arizona Cardinals . Green had been with the team since they drafted him in 2011.[ 2] He left the team 2nd in franchise history, behind Chad Johnson , in receiving yards, receiving touchdowns, and receptions.
