Polygon Wave EP (ポリゴンウェイヴ EP) was released on September 22, 2021 by Japanese electropop group Perfume.[1]
Music
Musically, The EP is an electronic "mini-album" with the uses of funk and techno.[2][3] The first track, the original mix of the lead track, "Polygon Wave", includes an additional a minute and a half.[4] Touki stated the track's style is similar like the producer's regular extended and album mixes.[3] "Polygon Wave" has been said to be using elements such as a funky guitar and a synth piano by music critics.[3][4][5] The third track, a remix of the lead track, has been describe as an 80's-like remix.[3][4] The fourth track, "Mugen Loop", shared a little resemblance to "Clockwork", one of the tracks from their Level3 album.[5][3][4]
