Article name
I suggest that this article is recreated as Ghost Orchid (Polyrrhiza lindenii) or Polyrrhiza lindenii to avoid confusion with Epipogium aphyllum OlHen 20:43, 24 August 2007 (UTC)
- I strongly agree. I don't know how to do that, however. I would encourage anyone who does to do so. GreenGorgon (talk) 06:49, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
Incongruent
The paper by Carlsward & al. states the exact opposite: Polyrrhyza, Polyradicion and Helleriella are now embedded in Dendrophylax. All members of the genus are typical epiphytes.
Fiction
Is there any true entheogenic use of this plant by indigenous peoples as depicted in the movie, "Adaptation," starring Merryl Streep and Nicholas Cage?
- No, that was entirely fictionalized. GreenGorgon (talk) 06:49, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
Photo
This page could really do with a photo, if anyone has an uncopyrighted image.
I totally agree, in fact I came here to see what they looked like after reading about the rare discovery in Florida. I pleaded with Mick Fournier to release some of his and he sent me these. Wonderful pitures... and very legal. Hopefully no one will knee-jerk a deletion. Hopefully I documented everything correctly. --71.77.211.77 00:53, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
