Tehreek-e-Soutul Auwliya (Template:Lang-ur) is an Islamic religious seminary and welfare organisation in Jammu and Kashmir. It was established by Abdul Rashid Dawoodi in 2005.
Soutul Auwliya has a number of functional departments, including Darsi-Nizami, Hifzu-Nazir, Darul Ift-ul-Qaza, Sout-ul-Auwliya library, Ulma council, Dawat-e-Tableeq, Soutul Auwliya Trust well-equipped Health Centre and a media cell which is headed by tariq ul islam bhat,[citation needed]and a central congregational mosque.[1][2]
History
Soutul Auwliya was established by Abdul Rashid Dawoodi in Anantnag, starting as a small madrasa in 2005.[3][4] The group was founded during an Islamic conference held in Kehribal village of Anantnag district, when Dawoodi revealed the organisation's constitution to a gathering of religious scholars, and the organisation's foundation was afterwards established by Yaseen Akhtar Misbahi.[1] Later Fayaz Ahmed Rizvi was appointed as its president and Muhammad Yusuf Baba as the general secretary.[5] It became one of the major religious organisations of Jammu and Kashmir.[6][7]

Donations
In 2018, TSA distributed flood relief to 2018 Kerala floods victims.[8]
Awareness programs
In June 2021, an awareness program on drugs abuse was organised by TSA in Anantnag district. The seminar was headed by Abdul Rasheed Dawoodi in which he delivered his speech on disadvantages of drugs abuse.[9]
Annual Soutul Auwliya Conference
TSA organize a conference every year which is known as the "Annual Soutul Auwliya Conference on 5 May". The main aim of these conferences is to unite the Muslim community.[10]
