- Gabriel Savage (musician) is a Canadian pop singer, songwriter, music producer and composer from Vancouver, British Columbia. After singing and writing with rock bands early in his career, Canadian artist Gabriel Savage made a seemingly effortless transition into the role of electro-savvy producer with his solo release of 'Rain' in the Summer of 2015, followed by his reworking of the Chris Isaak classic 'Wicked Game' late that same year. 2016 brought 'One Night', a "nostalgic take on early 2000's trance" and 'Real Eyes', followed by the re-release of his 2013 collaborative efforts 'Close Your Eyes' (feat. Gabriela Geneva)' and 'Dance the Night Away', accompanied by a 2017 Noah's Star: 'Close Your Eyes (Remix)' by Pablo Manazark (son of the late-Ray Manzarek, The Doors). In mid 2017 Savage released 'Stay Awake' before announcing a new ep release around the corner, while early 2018 Twitter records show that Savage suffered a lost hard drive which resulted in "multiple songs, projects and ideas compltely lost, putting him back months of progress and years of ideas". Late that same year Savage released 'Rough Seas' featuring fellow Vancouver singer/songwriter Elle Wolf, the first of his releases to not feature his own vocals and the first to delve so nonchalantly into the realm of electro-pop. The newest single from Gabriel Savage was reported via his Twitter and Facebook accounts on April 9th 2019 and is expected for an April 25th release date on all major music platforms and streaming outlets. sources: [256] [257] https://jamsphere.com/reviews/gabriel-savage-one-night-outside-of-the-box https://jadedphotography.wordpress.com/2011/11/13/interview-with-vancouver-band-the-niches-gabriel-savage/

Official members include Cowboy Mark on bass and Splat Action on drums. Starting with the “Rock & Roll Ligger” album (2005) Sour Jazz is produced by Daniel Rey (Ramones), who has been as well touring and playing the second guitar with the band in 2010. Other associated acts: Stephen Moses, Jim Duffy, Sami Yaffa, Cheetah Chrome. Sour Jazz possesses a very distinguishable musical style, rooted in punk rock and extended through the use of keyboards and saxophone; with a rich and pronounced rhythm section. As of 2014, Sour Jazz studio discography includes 5 albums: ** "No Values" (Ghostrider), 1999 ** "Lost for Life" (Ghostrider), 2001 (These first two albums have been released as vinyl and digital download only, with much of the material included into the later releases) ** "Dressed to the Left" (Munster), 2001 ** "Rock & Roll Ligger" (Acetate), 2005 ** "American Seizure" (Acetate), 2009 The official website (including the links to the band interviews, press quotations and other resources) [679] Despite meeting Wikipedia's criteria of notability (2 albums on Acetate, Ramones-associated members), the information on the band is scarce and finding reliable sources is challenging (which is another reason this is a request for an article rather than an attempt to write one). The original publications of the independent materials (like those cited on the band's website) tend to be rarely available online and multilingual. - Burbank, California seemed like an unusual spawning ground for such a sounding band, but makes sense considering their earlier formation as AOR band White Sister. When White Sister's keyboardist departed, Dennis Churchill-Dries (vocals/bass), Rick Chadock (guitar) and Rich Wright (drums) recruited piano and B3 Hammond player Michael Lord and renamed themselves Tattoo Rodeo.
- 1991's Rode Hard - Put Away Wet included such singles as "Been Your Fool" and "Let Me Be The One", but failed to sell in huge quantities. - The Technicolors (American rock band The Technicolors started off as the brainchild of Phoenix-native Brennan Smiley. The formation of the band itself started back when Smiley was acoustically supporting other local music acts by performing his songs live. Inspired by the New Millennium’s garage rock and mid 90's Brit-pop, The Technicolors combine elements of those two genres with classic and modern components and subject matters to introduce a completely new and exclusive sound.Today, The Technicolors is Brennan Smiley (Vocals, Guitar), Troy Lowney (Keys), Mike (Nico) Nicolette (Bass), and Sean Silverman (Guitar, Vocals). - Tony Memmel (Americana / Singer/Songwriter / Folk - Tony Memmel is a songwriter and performer with unique charisma and creativity. Though he was born missing his left forearm, he taught himself to play the guitar by constructing a self-made cast out of Gorilla Tape that secures a guitar pick to his arm. Flawlessly, he picks and strums his guitar, and sings his songs with his subtle, yet powerful voice. Even in a busy room, people will pause to listen and take a photo of the man on stage. With powerful, personal lyrics and well-crafted melodies, his music stands alone. Memmel often says, “I don’t want to be a good guitarist with one hand, I want to be a great guitarist and songwriter, period.” Applying this attitude to his craft earned him the 2013 WAMI Award for Singer-Songwriter of the year, where he joined the ranks of fellow WAMI winners: Bon Iver, Les Paul, Cory Chisel, and the BoDeans. The press has also taken notice as he’s earned write-ups in the Associated Press, CNN, Boston Globe, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, and Chicago Tribune.) (https://www.reverbnation.com/tonymemmel )

- Trio Hellenique (https://www.facebook.com/TrioHellenique) Vasilis (Basil) Nikolaidis started at the age of 13 to learn guitar and within a time span of 2 years together with some neighborhood friends had created his first TRIO. While still being a high school student he would perform as an amateur at various dances and at many radio stations under the name: TRIO TEMPO. He sang at many Greek movies, such as "Ta Kitrina Gantia", "Treis Koukles kai Ego", "Kainourgies Elpides", etc. He became well-known whilst performing next to Omiros Athinaio and Georgios Oikonomidis at Green Park. He left Greece having signed a contract at a Greek Club in Paris and it was there where the group was renamed to: TRIO HELLENIQUE. After Paris he worked in Brussels, Antwerp, Sweden and later in the Netherlands, where he achieved his first success by entering the Dutch Hit Parade with the song "Nina Nai" (a Turkish melody with Greek lyrics). Their LP's were a success and many songs entered the Top, songs such as "Marinela", "Varka sto Gialo", "Ela Ela" (girise se perimeno girise), "O Kaimos", "Ta Dakria" and of course the "Zorbas" for which a Golden Record was received. At 1970 he went to Greece and worked at the Hilton hotel for 3 years. After that he returned to Holland where eventhough he changed several singers, he maintained the TRIO until today, while now he only sings at various parties only for his friends. - Triplets Ghetto Kids (https://tripletsghettokids.com/) (https://www.facebook.com/pg/TripletsGhettoKids/about/?ref=page_internal) Triplets Ghetto Kids (TGK) is a group of young entertainers from Kampala Uganda, East Africa. Founded by Dauda Kavuma, a former street kid himself,Triplets Ghetto Kids comprises orphaned and/or vulnerable children, 3 girls and 6 boys, ranging in age from 6 to 16 years, primarily hailing from the streets of Kampala after running away from their impoverished homes in search of food. Although these kids and many like them are given certain labels, for example, street kids, orphaned or vulnerable, disadvantaged, runaway kids etc, at Triplets Foundation, we acknowledge the fact that they individually have a unique story, which when one takes the time to listen to, may make one appreciate how these kids' experiences can help shed more light on the many things we do not know about .the disadvantaged children across the world. At their young and impressionable age, the kids have resorted to using music dance and drama as a way of staying away from the violence and poverty that they experienced on the streets. Surprisingly, this has developed into a movement which is yielding profound social consequences to many of our followers as evidenced by the many positive messages we get from all over the world. With the assistance and guidance of their guardian, who also choreographs the kids, Kavuma Dauda, TGK raise money from their live performances and when they are hired to dance to music of various artists in music videos. This is further supplemented by donations from a few individual well wishers. All the money is used to assist in providing them with a safe place to live, food, clothing, medical expenses, and to pay for their education. All the nine (9)Triplets Ghetto Kids members live with Kavuma Dauda together with ten(10) other vulnerable children who he and his wife take care of. Because Kavuma did something radically different from most people, the world is now able to learn a little more about the millions of ignored children across the globe. - ^ "Miles Arntzen". Antibalas. Archived from the original on 2015-08-09. Retrieved 2016-02-25.
...drummer/composer, grew up within a musical family in Greenwich Village, New York City. With the help of his early drum teacher, Dave Anania (Blue Man Group), Miles learned to play the drums by listening to his favorite songs and playing along with them verbatim. His drumming, which can be described as a mixture of Tony Allen and Ringo Starr, is heavily influenced by his father (trumpeter Leif Arntzen) and his mentors Stuart Bogie and Billy Martin, along with Greg Errico, Max Roach, Prince, Chris Vatalaro, Jon Theodore, John Bonham and Joey Kramer. At New York University he has studied with Ari Hoenig, Tony Moreno, Wayne Krantz and Lenny Pickett.

From the Big Apple to the sandy shores of North Miami Beach, Brooklyn's EMEFE — the brainchild of Miles Arntzen, who toured with Arcade Fire's Will Butler as Arcade Fire's drummer during his 2015 spring tour — will be making its 305 debut during this year's TransAtlantic fest.
- ^ Redfern, Mark (Feb 23, 2016). "2015 Artist Survey: Will Butler of Arcade Fire". Under The Radar. Retrieved 2016-02-25.
What was the highlight of 2015, for either you personally or for the band? What was the low point? Highlight: Putting together my touring band. Miles Arntzen as standing drummer, Julie Shore as keyboard bassist, Sara Dobbs on mellotron, and everyone on vocals. Lowlight: You know what? I love Austin, but SXSW kind of sucks.
- ^ VALENTINO, SILAS (2015-08-31). "EMEFE EMBRACE THE RHYTHMS OF NEW YORK'S EVERYDAY STATIC". The Village Voice. Retrieved 2016-02-23.
Miles Arntzen founded the eight-piece ensemble (pronounced Em-eff-ay) as a freshman at NYU and spent the past six years evolving the band's blend of Fela Kuti–inspired Afrobeat with dashes of Prince- and David Byrne–channeling pop orchestration. The band spent two years writing EMEFE and recorded the tracks at percussionist Javier Ramos's family home in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey. After the bulk of the songs had been composed, Arntzen stumbled across the book And There Was Light by Jacques Lusseyran, a member of the French Resistance during World War II. The author's account of having his remaining senses drastically heightened after he became blind appealed to Arntzen, as did Lusseyran's comments on self-exploration: You either confront yourself and progress or fail to develop and become lost.
