Émile Sauret (1852-1920)

Emile Sauret, born at Dun-le-Roi, France, was a French violinist and composer. He began European tours at the age of eight. Sauret made his American debut in 1872. Liszt performed sonatas with him. Sauret wrote over 100 violin pieces, including the famous Candenza for he first movement of Paganini's 1st Violin Concerto.
