Help!!!

[edit]

It seems that you have given up on the supergroup page. Please don't! It is getting overrun again and I can't be the only one trimming down the entries, there's no way for me to keep up. I know we haven't always agreed on everything what exactly should be included, but I believe that your version was far better than almost every one since. I have started to compile a list of sources, but citing everything is a very hard task if the list is too long to begin with. I would appreciate any time you can spare to help check up on this page, even if it is just by removing a band or 2 that you don't think fits.Random89 (talk) 05:58, 7 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Supergroup

[edit]

Though it does seem ironic given the message above that I left a few months ago, I had in fact given up on this page. I was thrilled to see that someone had taken the step to split the article, which frankly could be very useful. I actually think the page Rock Supergroup is in better shape now then it has been in a while. I'm considering removing the whole list and enforcing a no-citation-no-inclusion policy for it, which would curb the rampant over-inclusion. I'm going to make an appearance at the talk page and bring some of this up, as this really isn't just a discussion that should be had between the two of us. Some other stuff (fisheries-related articles and ITN) are consuming some of my time right now, so I'll see when i get around to this. Random89 07:10, 7 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
