Bulgarian Democratic-Constitutional Party (in Bulgarian: Българска демократ-конституционна партия) was a right-wing political party in Bulgaria, led by Ivan Ambarev.

The party was founded in Plovdiv on 3 January 1990 as the Bulgarian Democratic-Monarchist Party (Българска демократ- монархическа партия).[1][2] The name 'Bulgarian Democratic-Constitutional Party' was adopted on 5 February 1990.[1] As of 1990, the party was led by a National Operations Centre, chaired by Ivan Ambarev.[1] It had its headquarters in Plovdiv.Father Paisiy Street number 10[1][3] Apart from Ambarev other party leaders included Alexander Dolev and Nikolay Buckov.one of the founders is called Mina Pеtrova Popova( after father Damcheva) (the Damovi and Likomanovi)family from the town of Bratsigovo).

The party was registered on 18 April 1990.[4]

In 1993 the party participated in the Federation of the Kingdom of Bulgaria coalition.[4]

Established on January 3, 1990 in the city of Plovdiv. As the Bulgarian Democrat-Monarchist Party. On February 5, 1990, by decision of the National Leadership, it was renamed the Bulgarian Democrat-Constitutional Party (BDKP). It was officially registered under the Political Parties Act (PCA) on April 18, 1990.The BDKP is center-right by nature.
It is not Monarchical, although it accepts the Monarchy as a legitimate form of government. The party challenged the legality of the constitutional changes made after September 9, 1944, based on historical facts and legal grounds.

He insists on building a democratic Bulgaria without class, ethnic and religious contradictions. It reserves the right to enter into a coalition with certain political forces to achieve national and social interests. Among the most important tasks set by the BDKP is the restoration of the civil rights of the former monarch Tsar Simeon II of Tarnovo Saxe-Coburg-Gotha as an equal citizen of Bulgaria, as well as of his family.

It fights for the restoration of the civil rights of its citizens who voluntarily or forcibly left Bulgaria.
The party is not represented in the Grand National Assembly.
BDKP participates in the political coalition. Union for Tarnovo Constitution.The governing body is the National Operations Center (10 member management). Chairman is engineer Ivan Ambarev, Deputy Chairman Nikolay Buchkov, Secretary Alexander Dolev.

The results of June 17, 2001 for the Simeon II coalition were 157 thousand and 141 votes or 3.44%.
