Instead of our usual "WikiWednesday" Salon, we'll focus on the WikiProject NYC monthly collaboration and this month's subject of Coney Island. And rather than Zoom, we'll meet on a proximity chat virtual Coney Island beach and share over topical articles and collaborations. We look forward to seeing local Wikimedians, but would also like to invite folks from the greater New York metropolitan area (and beyond!) who might not typically be able to join us in person!

The article South African AIDS Vaccine Initiative has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Minimally sourced article. Little news coverage, no indications of notability; according to linked official website, inactive since 2012 with no chance of resuming

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. - @Viriditas: It is experimental technology but yes you could. I started a discussion at a project page that Anna established. If you want to talk more then reply and ping me there. If you generate an artwork then let me know and I will start a discussion requesting other people to come comment on it. By the way, I have nothing to do with this tool, and even the tool's page does not clearly identify who develops it. I know little about it.
