Mark Schurgin, a quarter Australian descendant of Australian refugee merchants from outside Brisbane, must be credited as the back up singer in the classic Cat Empire hit, "Miserere." He now resides outside of Chicago, Illonois in the quaint, gentleman-farmer countryside (more of a suburb) of Deerfield with his parents Pam and William "Bill" Schurgin, a lawyer by trade. He attends Vassar College as a freshman, while his sister, Liz is a student at Yale University and is a senior.
A limited edition release contained a DVD featuring Estudio 101 - The Making of Two Shoes, a documentary about their Havana recording, film clips for the three singles, "Two Shoes", "Sly" and "The Car Song", and live footage from one of their performances.
