The Mughal Museum, now known as the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Museum, is a museum planned to be built in the city of Agra, India.[1][2] The museum is currently under construction.[3][4][5][6] Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath renamed the Mughal Museum after the Maratha king Shivaji. Shivaji did not have any significant association with Agra except for his imprisonment and subsequent daring escape from Agra.[7] Hence the critics have accused the CM for trying to change history.[8]
