Suma Ching Hai, or Supreme Master Ching Hai (Chinese characters: 淨海無上師), a former Buddhist nun, is the leader of her own religious cult that is based on some elements of Buddhism and Christianity. Her teachings involve meditation methods, such as the Guanyin Method, which Suma Ching Hai claims that saviors such as Jesus Christ and Buddha used. Critics of Suma Ching Hai have called her thought of her as "Part Buddha, Part Madonna".
