Hi, I call me Gurnard. Why Gurnard? well long story short, I used to catch gurnard fish all the time and mistaken these fish as poisonous since so many other locals kept throwing them back in and seem scared of it. It was a misconception. It was the internet that made me realize they were good food fish and so Gurnards are a reminder to me that ignorance of certain topics can be alleviated with readily accessible info.

I'm interested in Japan, popular culture, food, biology, sports doping, tech brands, nutrition, economics, philosophers and culture. I am mostly likely to edit pages of those topics. I don't plan to edit a lot but would try to make an effort to add in vital info to topics if they are missing and I'm aware of it. I really dislike partisan politics especially when it undermines public's access to info and do have a soft spot for Wikileaks Assange who I feel was a victim of such partisan politics that wanted to bury information.

Update - forgot my username approx a year ago and then that started a shit-storm. Created a new account but got tired of the petty China hawk heat that comes naturally after adding info they hate.. Reached out to Admins who are practically useless whenever reporting them. Started to edit with fresh accounts to throw obsessive China Hawks off me.

Still intend to edit in good faith but just not from this account. Too much drama comes when you attract China hawk editors and Admins to your account.. Best to edit with fresh accounts like one below and there is very little they can do about it.
