Sandra Brown, (born on 1948 in Wako, Texas) is an North-American bestselling writer of romantic novels and thriller suspense novels. She started her writing career in 1981 and since then has had over 50 New York Times bestsellers. She has also published works under the pen names of Laura Jordan, Rachel Ryan and Erin St. Claire. Also it has worked like reporter, model, actress and woman of businesses. Sandra is married to Michael Brown, a former television anchorman who recently produced the award winning documentary film DUST TO DUST.


Biography

A lifelong Texan, Sandra Brown was born on 1948 in Waco and raised in Ft. Worth. He is greater of four sisters, reason why always he has been very mature and responsible. Sandra received the master's degree in English in the Christian University of Texas.

She obtained a work like reporter in the magazine of national distribution PM Magazine, but when she experienced the massive dismissal, she was seen in unemployment. She worked as a model at the Dallas Apparel Mart, and in television, including weathercasting for WFAA-TV in Dallas, and feature reporting on the nationally syndicated program "PM Magazine."

She married to Michael Brown, a former television anchorman who recently produced the award winning documentary film DUST TO DUST. They and both returned to Ft. Worth. Sandra continued working sporadically like model in Dallas, while she raised to his children; Rachel Brown and Ryan Brown (She used her names to create her pseudonym: Rachel Ryan). Now the Brown's family live in Arlington, Texas.

The husband of Sandra animated she to that she wrote fiction stories in his free time. She decided to prove and in only a year first novel managed to sell his. Sandra began her writing career in 1981 and since then has published 65 novels. Her books have been translated into 30 languages, and there are presently 70 million copies of her books in print worldwide. Her 1992 novel FRENCH SILK was made into an ABC-TV movie. Sandra Brown is the author of more than 50 New York Times bestsellers.

Her novel French Silk was made into a movie, released in 1994, for television. Susan Lucci, Shari Belafonte, and Lee Horsley starred in it.[1]
