The Zenaida macroura macroura is a subspecies of mourning dove native to North America.[2] Its is found on Cuba, Hispaniola (Dominican Republic and Haiti), Puerto Rico, Jamaica. This subspecies has shorter wings, dark to medium tone, deep buff belly.[3]
