Xie Fei (revolutionary)

Xie Fei (simplified Chinese: 谢飞; traditional Chinese: 謝飛; pinyin: Xiè Fēi; 3 February 1913 – 14 February 2013) was a Chinese politician.

She was born Xie Qiongxiang Chinese: 謝瓊香 in Wenchang, Hainan Province. When she was thirteen years old, she became a revolutionary. She was one of thirty women participants of the Long March, 1934–1935. From 1935 to 1939, she was married to Liu Shaoqi, who later became Chairman of the People's Republic of China.
