Concern regarding Draft:Sincere McCormick

Information icon Hello, GPL93. This is a bot-delivered message letting you know that Draft:Sincere McCormick, a page you created, has not been edited in at least 5 months. Draft space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for article space.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion under CSD G13. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it. You may request userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occurred, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available here.

Hello GPL93. Thank you so much for your advice. Best wishes

Your deleted a page that is truthfull and who you think to are to do so? the info is already lnow by lots of people so for your miss information you'll be reported

Untruthfull respond for deleting my page MissTrend (talk) 06:07, 17 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@MissTrend: your user page violated our guidelines, which state that user pages should only contain information about yourself in the context of editing Wikipedia. I also did not delete it as I'm not an administrator, you will need to contact User:Fastily who actually deleted the page. If you want to report me, go right ahead but maybe read WP:BOOMERANG first. Best, GPL93 (talk) 11:27, 17 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't violated anything so I disagree, in fact the story it truthfull since iamhailey20231 is me. I created the diss track t9 protect Blackpink and I wrote this page to tell the whole truth and reason for it. So as much as you think that it's untruth it's the truth. But you know what, whatever delete my acc if you feel the need to. I don't care.

My voice MissTrend (talk) 13:36, 17 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@MissTrend: That's literally using your user page for something other than a description of you as an editor, which is a violation of policy. Best, GPL93 (talk) 13:41, 17 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Florida?

Hmm must be hard being an Eagles fan then, given all the Alabama input there! Roll Tide! Drmies (talk) 15:12, 17 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Drmies: I spent part of my childhood living in South Florida in the mid-2000's when it was easier to be a Gator fan and Alabama was stuck with Mike Shula. I've found that former Alabama players are easier to forgive for past discretions when they are now on your team. Best, GPL93 (talk) 15:19, 17 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Ha, Mike Shula, sure--but I remember the others as well. Mike Dubose. Mike Price. Shameful--and that's when I was at Alabama. Take care, Drmies (talk) 15:21, 17 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding few CSD nominations

Hi there, just wanted to notify you of an ongoing discussion at ANI, your CSD nominations for reference: 1, 2, 3 and 4. Until the motive for these accounts are clear, we are avoiding any further CSD nominations under G5.

Thanks! MT TrainTalk 16:17, 21 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Response to comment

In regards to this comment, not sure I'd link to either of the named cases in terms of behavior. I think they are translating articles from the Azeri Wikipedia and that there is also possibly UPE (which may be the underlying link to the other named cases).--Eostrix  (🦉 hoot hoot🦉) 16:37, 23 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Eostrix: I think UPE is probably what connects all of the cases together, it's also possible that some WP:PROXYing is going on for the blocked promo+sock editors. Best, GPL93 (talk) 18:09, 23 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Draft:Andrew Metha

Hi, I originally created this page for an esteemed professor in his field and who has contributed widely to scholarship. I initially thought that it had to be in his name so I signed up with this name. Please note as well that I did not intend to publish it yet, I wanted to keep it in sandbox prior to publishing so I can show others what it actually looks like. Kindly please help me restore it, so I can make more changes to follow Wikipedia guidelines. (talk) 9:49, 13 October 2021 (EST)

EntertainmentWatchdog

I think it's just a bad coincidence, but I filed an SPI just to be sure. Hopefully, it will come back as unrelated. –MJLTalk 17:26, 14 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@MJL: Sadly, I doubt it' not WP:MEAT at the least as they originally started editing arounf the same time at Draft:E11EVEN Miami, which EntertainmentWatchdog requested deleted under WP:G7 right before republishing under a slightly different name in the mainspace (It had been rejected multiple times, so likely trying to WP:GAME the system). A quick offsite search of the username for the account that uploaded the photos brings up a digital marketing consultant. Best, GPL93 (talk) 17:35, 14 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I know what you are saying (saw that too). However, that is why I hope it comes back unrelated since it would potentially just mean EW was in the wrong place at the right time. –MJLTalk 17:37, 14 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
How often does someone just "happen" to begin editing on the same topic at the exact same time as the marketing firm? Best, GPL93 (talk) 17:40, 14 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Draft Page Deletion - Contest Deletion

The request for speedy deletion of Draft: Elevate Oral Care site was inappropriate and untimely. The page was in draft form so the historical foundation could be posted, a link created and pushed out to the dental community for editing. In less than 12 hours the draft was deleted an did not permit any of these actions from taking place. My relationship with Elevate Oral Care is publicly disclosed as instructed by Wikipedia in my profile. Additionally, my posting of the background information is appropriate in that we are a privately held company and there are no Securities Exchange Commissions listings or other references to provide such information. A citation was provided to our articles of incorporation. Only a principal of the organization would have the knowledge to post such information. No where on the page was listed any promotional information, citations were to third party publications and professional dental organizations (most non commercial). One link was provided to Elevate Oral Care website and equal links were provided to other mentioned competing companies. One of our products already has a Wikipedia page (Silver Diamine Fluoride) and has been Breakthrough Therapy Designation by the Food and Drug Administration (as a life saving product), and we have been added to the World Health Organizations list of essential medications (page 18 the following reference).[1] Please re-post the article, and assist me by removing any material you deem as marketing. The page will be sent to the dental community for modifications as soon as possible. Spardue13 (talk) 13:46, 28 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

GPL93 is not an administrator, so can't restore your "article" even if they wanted to, which I don't suppose they do, as it was pure advertising. Bishonen | tålk 16:41, 28 October 2021 (UTC).[reply]
@Spardue13: per Bishonen I did not actually delete the draft, but rather I flagged it as likely needing to be deleted because it violated Wikipedia policy. The admin agreed and deleted it. GPL93 (talk) 16:54, 28 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@GPL93: Thanks for the clarification. Which admin deleted it and how can I contact them? Rather than deleting the whole page, can someone help me parse down the content so only allowed information is posted? I have a backup copy of the original content that can be modified.

Rovshan Khalilov

Dear GPL93, you wrote that "Subject is not listed as a medalist of any sort under List of world championships medalists in powerlifting (men) or the IFSA Strongman World Championships" and at the same time provide a link to allpowerlifting.com. In reliable sources, which I cited in the article, I also refer to this site and there is the name of Rovshan Khalilov. Here is a link to Rovshan Khalilov's profile on this site (https://en.allpowerlifting.com/lifters/AZE/khalilov-rovshan-84855/). It's just that there are different categories in power lifting. Your draft article, Draft:Brantley Bell

Hello, GPL93. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Brantley Bell".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. If you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Liz Read! Talk! 23:12, 6 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Drake - Iowa comment

I didn't say that they had moved the article from draft space to article space. I said that a reviewer had moved the article from article space to draft space, and warned them not to move it back to article space without discussion. Move-warring of articles between article space and draft space is excessively common; you probably knew that. It is common enough that I routinely caution the author of such a page not to move it back to article space.

No harm, no foul. Robert McClenon (talk) 16:31, 11 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Myrna Pearman (References Added)

Hi GPL93 Thank you very much for graciously showing me the Wikipedia etiquette. I appreciate you moving my first article, "Myrna Pearman," back to a draft rather than deleting it. I've acted on your feedback and added many more references to independent sources. I've since submitted the article for review (as you suggested) a month or so ago and am currently waiting. While I wait for the article to be reviewed, I would appreciate your feedback. Your opinion of if I have referenced enough sources would be of value to me. Most respectfully MackenzieBailey (talk) 22:07, 16 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi GPL93

I've contested your recommendation that the article Myrna Pearman be deleted. The subject of the article is notable: Pearman is a published book author, she has co-authored or authored several scientific papers in her niche and has appeared on CBC. The article is comparable to existing articles: I've structured the article based on established naturists (e.g. ,you'll find the Pearman's page resembles Jane Goodalls Wikipedia page). The article is credible: I've included external links to studies, local news, articles, and more; third-party sources are cited.

If you think some elements should be removed, that's fair and valuable feedback (please be specific). If you think the tone should be adjusted, I'm happy to adjust (everyone can improve, myself included). But the deletion of the page seems unfounded.

Respectfully, MackenzieBailey (talk) 19:10, 19 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@MackenzieBailey: Well to start, it is very clear that you have a WP:COI given the photos you added to the page and that must be declared. Additionally, Jane Goodall's article does not match the CV-Resume style that the draft was in and the WP:REFBOMBing of the subjects own writings should generally be avoided. The reviewing administrator agreed that the article would need to be entirely re-created due to coming off as overtly promotional (per the WP:G11 criteria for speedy deletion) and therefore deleted it. Best, GPL93 (talk) 19:19, 19 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi GPL93, Actually, you're right. Please show me a little grace. :) I spent a lot of time writing that article, and I felt I had acted on your original feedback (citations) well. So I was surprised (and a little cross) that you recommended the deletion of the article from a totally different angle. But, I've thought it over, reread my work, and I see your point. I write positively about things in general, and in this case, it came off as a little promotional. I'll rewrite the article taking your points to heart. May I reach out to you when I've done so? As you have much more experience, I really do value your feedback. Most respectfully. MackenzieBailey (talk) 19:34, 19 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Matt Lovell (nutritionist) page created

Hi GPL93, thank you for the welcome and I believe I have declared my COI now. However, I would appreciate your comments if you think it is sufficient. In terms of the definition of promotion, I can remove all references to company names but that may render some of the information meaningless and that would be a shame as my intention is to join the pieces of information that are floating around in the press but disconnected. If all company names are to be removed does this also include from the references and citations as they are included there. Is there something specific that is troubling you in what I have written, if so I shall review accordingly? As I am completely new to this process, but have thoroughly enjoyed digging through information, your comments would be much appreciated. Thanks for your timeQPMZWO (talk) 16:01, 21 November 2021 (UTC) I believe I had actioned everything you suggested to rebut the presumption of CIO and FCIO and have requested a new editorial input. Look forward to seeing if this is sufficient. Best wishesQPMZWO (talk) 13:35, 22 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I was reviewing it, when you tagged it for csd. I thought I accidentally tagged it for csd so quickly removed the tag but, then, I saw the history. While I agree that was unacceptable as it seemed paid editing and lacking rs, I feel the draft can be improved and it seemed in a much better state than the other upe submissions I see. Therefore, I declined the submission for future improvements but didn't think of csd-ing it. I could be wrong, but can you please elaborate on why you prefered csd-ing it than tagging it for improvement? Lightbluerain (Talk | contribs) 17:35, 6 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Lightbluerain: I didn't think there was much of a chance of improvement given that is was what appeared to be self-written vanity page and the draft would likely have to be completely rewritten. I did not re-tag, but it looks like an admin still G11-ed it. Best, GPL93 (talk) 00:18, 7 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Good afternoon! I don't understand why the administrators of the English wikipedia want to delete my articles. Maybe my English is bad? The suspicion that I am receiving payment is wrong. I am a rich man, now I live in my villa on the Mediterranean Sea. I have a business, and wikipedia is my hobby. I am also a corresponding member of the Academy of Arts. I ask you to explain my mistakes. I think international fashion magazines are very respected sources. I also write about artists and musicians, our contemporaries. I think this is very important, because after their death it will be impossible to find out the truth.

P.S. I have made changes to the article. With respect Олег Черкасский (talk) 15:46, 15 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Олег Черкасский: The sourcing is still pretty terrible as it's a combination of paid press (photos by "Press Service" pretty much give it away), non-reliable sites, passing mentions, and self-works. I'm bringing it to AfD. Also, please cut it with the "I don't need money" schtick. GPL93 (talk) 16:27, 15 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. I probably shouldn't write in the English wikipedia, I don't understand the importance of sources correctly. I thought Cosmopolitan, GRAZIA and Marie Claire were reliable sources. I have one more question: is the https://disruptmagazine.com/ site a good source or not? Thanks for the reply. I will study the life of Americans.Олег Черкасский (talk) 17:17, 15 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
