Biphobia is the fear, dicrimination, or hatred of bisexuals. It needn't include Homophobia or Heterophobia, because there are stereotypes that are given to bisexuals, but not heterosexuals or homosexual. These include, but are not limited to promiscuity, polygamy, living the swinging lifestyle, and confused. Often, however heterosexuals and homosexuals will add more stereotypes based on homophobia or heterophobia. Homophobes may think that they are gender nonconformist. Heterophobes will often think of bisexuals as maintaining privilege and collaborating with the Homophobes. Lesbian feminists sometimes think that bisexual women are giving into Patriarchy.

Sexophobes will hate bisexuals for the same reason as they hate monosexuals.
