Devo concert chronology

The No Fixed Address Tour was the eighth headlining concert tour by American country rock band Devo, in support of their tenth studio album No Fixed Address. The tour was announced on August 5, 2014, as well as Frankie Ballard, Pop Evil, and Lifehouse as the support act for the majority of the shows in North American while Monster Truck will be the support act in Australia (2015).[2][3]

Their September 18, 2014, sold-out show at Madison Square Garden led Mark Mothersbaugh to thank fans, "We've waited a long time for this", "I've gotta give you guys props. You guys sold out Madison Square Garden on a Thursday night."[4]

Concert synopsis

The show began with the band shooting straight up in the air from apparatuses at each ends of the stage, which had a sci-fi design.

Devo kicked off the show with "Million Miles an Hour" and "Smile", the latter a non-single from their current album, and ended the night with their smash hit "Cruise". During the show they went into an acoustic setup for "Someday". They sang a medley of covers which included songs such as Meghan Trainor's "All About That Bass" and Alan Jackson's "Tequila Sunrise".[4]
