S.Aishwarya & her sister S.Saundarya are two of the most popular Carnatic musicians from the younger generation. They are the great-granddaughters of Bharat Ratna M. S. Subbulakshmi.[1] and the granddaughters of Sangeeta Ratnakara Dr.Radha Viswanathan and the torch bearers of the precious MS and Radha Legacy.

Career

Aishwarya began her first lessons from Smt.M.S Subbulakshmi and Smt.Radha Viswanathan when she was hardly 4 years old. The huge repertoire of songs which was part of the MS Bani, was painstakingly taught to Aishwarya by her Grandmother Dr.Radha for a period of 20 years.

S.Aishwarya is a disciple of Karnataka Kalashree Smt.Jambu Kannan. She currently learns the Veena from Smt. B. Nagalakshmi.

Saundarya is a disciple of Sangeeta Kala Acharya Smt.Neela Ramgopal. She learns the Carnatic Violin from Sri.Vishwajith Mathur. She learns Bharatntayam from Smt. Sumitra Nitin and also plays the western Violin.

Both the sisters learn Hindustani Music from Sri. Omkarnath Havaldar.

In October 2017, Aishwarya & Saundarya were invited by the Honorable Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi to sing at his residence wherein they sang the composition "Maithreem Bhajatha" of the Mahaperiaval of Kanchi which was composed for World Peace and sung at the United Nations in 1966 by Smt. M. S. Subbulakshmi and Smt. Radha Viswanathan.

The sisters are a sensation on Social Media with their videos on Facebook and YouTube garnering over 25 Million views.

The sisters have given more than 500 concerts in many prestigious venues across the world.
