Meppadiyan is an Indian Malayalam-language [drama] film written and directed by Vishnu Mohan under the banner of Unni Mukundan Films.[3] The film features Unni Mukundan, Kottayam Ramesh, Saiju Kurup,[4] Aju Varghese, Anju Kurian,[5] Nisha Sarang and Kalabhavan Shajohn in the lead roles.[6][7][8] Filming took place in Erattupetta in late 2020. The film released on 14 January 2022.[9]

Production
The film was shot around 48 different live locations across Erattupetta and Pala with an ensemble cast.[19] Filming began on October 26, 2020, in Erattupetta.[20]
Release
The release of the film was postponed several times due to COVID-19 pandemic in India.[21]
The film had a theatrical release on 14 January 2022.[22]
