Request protection of a page, or increasing the protection level

Temporary semi-protection: Persistent vandalism – Folks are repeatedly removing the conspiracy theory aspects. I would protect it myself, but I'm the main author. I suggest 6 months to a year. The article has jumped in popularity in the last few months...I suspect as its conspiracy theory spreads :(. CaptainEek Edits Ho Cap'n! 05:50, 22 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Indefinite semi-protection: BLP policy violations – This article has a long-term issue started in the late 2020. Some users especially the IP users change her middle name without providing any reliable BLP source; e.g. see these recent diffs.[1][2][3] There is a source[4] that clarifies her middle name but anonymous editors just ignore it and refer to her Instagram stuff without even posting the link to those specific Instagram posts/videos. There is a discussion[5] about this issues on the talk page. So an indefinite semi-protection could convince IP users to use the talk page and provide their evidences/sources. DeclinedWarn the user appropriately then report them to AIV or ANI if they continue. FASTILY 07:52, 22 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Temporary semi-protection: Persistent vandalism – Artist in question of the article was referred to Indian in the past due to the dialect in the song, however the Rolling Stone article sourced cites him as Pakistani according to the Artist himself. Requesting semi-protection in case it's changed to Indian. RodeoWrld (talk) 06:28, 22 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Declined – Not enough recent disruptive activity to justify protection. FASTILY 07:52, 22 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Indefinite semi-protection: Persistent vandalism – WP:POV issues. My preference would be an indefinite lock to new and unconfirmed editors although a long lock for the same could possibly work as well. Indefinite ECP might also be an option. Walter Görlitz (talk) 08:01, 22 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Reason: A user Sidbidmidlid constantly doing disruptive editing. Rtyggu (talk) 08:51, 22 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Indefinite extended confirmed protection: Arbitration enforcement – WP:ARBPIA, major state in the Arab–Israeli conflict, unclear why it was unprotected. –LaundryPizza03 (d) 08:53, 22 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Reason: High level of IP vandalism Robby.is.on (talk) 11:58, 22 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Temporary semi-protection: Persistent vandalism – The article's subject is in the intensive care unit. The most recent news is that her condition is improving, but IP users keep marking her dead. Largoplazo (talk) 12:45, 22 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Reason: Third request in 72 hours. IP vandalism constant. Why do these requests keep getting rejected when it's clear from the edit history that the vandalism has been incessant for many months? I was told to "warn the user" and report to AIV, but it's an IP-hopper—how is this not the right place to prevent vandalism to the page? Mac Dreamstate (talk) 13:09, 22 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Reason: Disruption by multiple IPs as soon as the previous semi-protection expired, despite the explanation at Talk:Battle of Sammel as to why their edits are wrong. FDW777 (talk) 13:19, 22 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Reason: Multiple incidents of vandalism by IP users: 1064731284 by 2600:1700:4920:3180:382E:687:A2B1:984A AND 1066894107 by 96.60.106.142 . No explanation for removing declared candidates whose declarations and wiki references had been in place for months Efte46urbi5 (talk) 13:24, 22 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Reason: High level of IP vandalism, and disruptive edits from new users. Mspriz (talk) 14:06, 22 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-protection: Persistent sockpuppetry – Persistent disruptive editing by IP editors claiming to be Park Shin-hye or associated with them. EN-Jungwon 14:20, 22 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
