The Bad Girls Club is a reality-based series that debuted on Oxygen on December 6, 2006 [1]. The series is produced by Bunim/Murray Productions.

Details

The series follows a group of unruly women who share a house together in an effort to change their ways...if they can. The program takes place over the course of 22 episodes and will capture the participants' every move in a docu-soap type fashion.

According to the press release from Oxygen: "In order to gain entrance to the club - located in Los Angeles - the group must first (literally) pledge to help themselves, and each other, change their evil ways. The cast of The Bad Girls Club will be a diverse group of women; including some familiar faces, whose inability to play nice with others has held them back both personally and professionally."

Participants

Ripsi (23): A spoiled daddy's girl who wants to see if she can survive outside of her parents house. Ripsi has an addictive personality and drinks 24/7. She is later kicked out of the house after attacking Kerry and Jodie while drunk.

Zara (22): A wild child from a small town in New York with a population of 200. She has cheated on her 18 year old boyfriend named Jarad to be with a man she met through the pool boy. She came to just see if she can make it in a big city with different girls.

Leslie (24): A strong woman. She stands up for her beliefs and she helps other girls in the house stand together. Leslie is trying to give up her occupation as a stripper even though she doesn't want to give up all the money she makes from it. After Ty gets sent home for fighting Aimee, Leslie gets lonely and thinks about leaving, unknown if she actually leaves but its kind of obvious that (official information from Ty's myspace bulletin).

Kerry (31): A former country singer from Tennessee, she became known as the Sex Kitten of Country Music and came to see if she can make it in Hollywood and show that she is a serious performer. She is unsure if she is in love with her boyfriend David.

DeAnn (27) : A mother of one son. Came in replacement of Ripsi. She is a tough blonde with little care of what people think of her. People say she's stuck up when they first meet her.

Aimee (24): A tough girl, who's probably the most independent one who argues and fist fights girls as a hobby, came to see if she can get along with other girls.

Jodie (29): A spoiled wannabe playboy bunny who grew up poor and never made any girl friends and wants to make it now. She enjoys talking about other girls, to cause drama.

Ty (23): A tough woman from Atlanta who is bisexual and has had previous run-ins with the law. Out of all the girls she is usually the voice of reason however she does have her share of fights. After a fight with Aimee, Ty gets sent home and was replaced by Jojo. (official information from Ty's myspace bulletin).

JoJo (Unknown): According to the other Bad Girls on myspace, and her myspace this is a brunette who is joining the Bad Girls sometime later on the season.

Andrea(23): Another girl joining the Bad Girls as it has been confirmed that Ty is leaving, and Leslie is probably leaving too. (if u are any of the Bad Girls' friends on myspace (especially Ty or JoJo Gogo) u know what im talking about.

Episode Summaries

It's Easier to be Bad: The girls first arrive to the house. Zara, and Leslie are the first girls to arrive and soon bond and become roomates (although LEslie is pissed that Zara is a slob). Ripsy soon arrives, then Jodie, and then Aimee. Ty the last girl is supposed to arrive the next day, as she is in court for something "bad". The girls do some bonding, and the next night decide to go out. The girls are having a great time, partying, dancing and getting drunk until this strange guy starts hitting on Jodie, Leslie taking hte big sister role tries to push him away and a big fight starts with Leslie and the bouncer. The bouncer throws Leslie out of the club (literally). Leslie then begins getting on Jodie about how she stuck up for her and she was nowhere to be found. The next morning, Jodie tells Ripsi that she thinks everyone is afraid of Leslie, after hearing this Aimee gets pissed off and starts telling her off and they get in a big arguement. Meanwhile, Jodie and Kerry are picking on Ripsi because she believes that having 3 shots in the morning will get her over her hangover. One night, Ripsy and Zara (who have become best friends) decide to get really, really drunk and guzzle down a whole bottle of taquila. After doing "yoga" Ripsi starts attacking Kerry for absolutely no reason. Kerry, realizing she's serious tries to get away but Ripsi keeps coming back and gets pushed int he pool. To be continued...

A Rude Awakening: Ripsi is still on the rampage, she keeps going after Kerry. But she falls asleep for 20 seconds and gets up and attacks the kitchen, breakin everything, throwing apples at the windows, and then goes after Jodie attacking her in her sleep ripping her hair and scratching her eye, she is finally kicked out by Ty. Ripsy finally falls asleep. The next morning, Kerry wakes up with bruises, Jodie wakes up with a fucked up eye, and Ripsi wakes up with no memory of the entire night. Being shocked by the information given to her by the girls, she immediately starts apologizing to Kerry.

Quick Fix: As the girls have their 1st house meeting, Ripsi will not however show any remorse for Jodie (well maybe not showing it) and is only worried about Kerry. Even though she apologizes, Kerry gives them an ultimatum either Ripsi goes or she goes. Ripsi finally decides to leave. Splitting up most of her wardrobe giving half to Zara and half to Aimee. The next day after Ripsi leaves, Kerry's boyfriend, David flies in to comfort her in her "time of need" and she tries to make a decision about how she feels about him. Then, the girls meet hot pool boy, Steve and Jodie and Kerry immediately start drooling over him, even though he told she told him she had a boyfriend he gets a little to close. Then, Zara meets conceited club promoter, Tomik.

A Tomik Bomb: Zara finds comfort in Tomik, a player. Everyone can see that Tomik is just playing Zara and see that she is going to cheat on her boyfriend, Jarad. On the night, as the girls were going out to a club, Zara was rushing everybody out just to get there in time to see Tomik, she decides it's time to go and leaves Leslie and Ty at the house to hurry and meet Tomik. Because of this, the next day which happens to be Zara's birthday everyone gives her the cold shoulder except for Ty who tells her off for what she did. Meanwhile, Kerry and Jodi start bonding.

Out with the Old, In with the New: The new roomate, DeAnn moves into the house as a replacement for Ripsi. She being blonde immediately enters the clique with Jodie and Kerry. She also has great tension with Aimee as they both dont like eachother from the get go. DeAnn believes Aimee is a dark and closed up bitch and Aimee believes DeAnn is just another stuck up blonde chick. Meanwhile, Ty and Leslie draw further away from the others as they become very close, and Ty reveals to LeeLee that she is bisexual. Also Zara tries to hide her night with Tomik from everyone including her boyfriend, Jarad, but she tells him the truth and they break up over the phone. By the end of the episode, DeAnn and Aimee realize they're both good people and become friends, and Zara and the girls work out their Tomik bullshit.

The Trouble with Boys: Tomik and Aimee argue as Tomik believes she's a bitch and Aimee believes he's a conceited wannabe player. But, at a party at his house, Tomik and Aimee bond, and Tomik brings Aimee into his room and begins to express that he likes her and wants to be with her. And later, he and Zara become an official couple (even though he claims he's getting "red flags" from her). Back at the house, Aimee tries to tell Zara what happened, but she doesn't believe her, and while Zara is on the phone with Tomik, Aimee and the other girls gather around the computer and read a message from Tomik to Aimee on myspace about how he and Zara are not together, and that he wants to be with her (Aimee). Meanwhile, Jodie meeets a cute guy, and they have alot in common but after a night at the house he doesnt call her back.

Miss Understanding: Leslie, Ty, Aimee and Zara are going to a black club but Zara decides to go back home stating that "she doesn't feel comfortable around alot of black people". Leslie and Ty decide to give her the cold shoulder for that racially insensitive comment. But, later Ty plays with Zara in the confessional. Leslie calls Ty fake because she had already said that she isn't gonna mess with Zara anymore, but Ty just says that you cant take the things Zara does seriously and they get into an arguement. Later, they forgive eachother and say that they were gonna have to argue to really get to know eachother and become closer. Zara becomes an annoying bitch to Leslie and at the same time tries to become friends again. In the end, Leslie tells Zara that she could care less if they don't talk for the next 3 months that they're in the house. Meanwhile, Jodie, Kerry, DeAnn, and Zara go out dressed like 80's HoBos to have some fun.

Not a Happy Camper: Aimee reveals that her biggest fear in the world is rats as she believes there was one in the house. DeAnn, Jodie, Kerry, and Zara decide to go camping and Deann and Kerry are slowly slipping away from Jodie and separating her from their "secret club". Deanna and Kerry decide to get masks and costumes to scare a pampered Jodie in the woods and tell Aimee their plan. so Jodie, Deann, Aimee, and Kerry go to Melrose and DeAnn and Kerry tell Jodie that they're going to take a "Hollywood tour" but actually go to the costume shop. Aimee and Jodie are finnished shopping and wait outside for 2 hours for them to come to pick them up, but Kerry and Deann are having to much fun spending 200 dollars on costumes. Getting pissed off, Aimee decides to tell Jodie their plan and Jodie is shocked. Realizing that she is slipping away from the "Blonde Girls Club". DeAnn and Kerry guessing that Aimee spilled the beans, leave a fake rat under her bed. As expected Aimee gets heated and throws all their clothes on their beds and sprays beach on them. As the girls have expected tent pitching trouble Jodie flirts with this lurker who picks on them being women to get back at them. Then, they light a bonfire and the manager comes and tells them that that's illegal, the girls then strip down to their underwear and TP the campsite manager's house. Meanwhile, Ty has boyfriend/money troubles.

Smack My Beach Up: Ty and Leslie engage in a boozy night out and return home to a mightily irked Aimee. Later, bad blood boils between Ty and Aimee, who make waves during a beach excursion. Elsewhere, being home alone gives Jodie and Zara an opportunity to lay bare their sexy and silly sides.

And the Walls Came Tomberlin Down: When Ty departs, a lonely Leslie ponders leaving as well.
