Amaury Cordeel to join F2 with Van Amersfoort Racing

Amaury Cordeel was announced that he would join Formula 2 with Van Amersfoort Racing when he finished his previous season driving for Campos 23rd in the points standings. How can this be possible though? Editingcreate123 (talk) 10:27, 29 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Promotions aren't necessarily results-based. Maybe they saw something in his skills that aren't reflected in his results, or some other underlying reason. Whatever you thought of Cordeel's promotion, consider this too: Alessio Deledda was promoted to F2 in 2021 despite finishing 29th and 34th in the two prior seasons of F3.
