I cannot find a precise of date of death, though 1160 was given. This is clearly wrong (making over 120 at least at death). Probably he died in 1119. I cannot find any reason also for numbering him II and not I. Indeed, Gregorovius gives "Werner I". Srnec03:56, 21 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
As there were at least 3 official Wernhers listed on this site, and many more that may not even be sourced, it's likely a confusion between 2 or more Wernhers. Likely Wernher I and Wernher II. Which, in the links to the other language wikis also confuses the two.Rosengarten Zu Worms (talk) 15:33, 19 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
