Last Pizza Slice, also known by their mononym LPS, is a Slovenian band. The band is currently scheduled to represent Slovenia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 with their single "Disko".[1]

Career

The band was created in December 2018 in the music room of the Gimnazija Celje Center.[2]

2022: Eurovision Song Contest 2022

Slovenia's broadcaster for the Eurovision Song Contest, Radiotelevizija Slovenija, announced on November 26, 2021 that Last Pizza Slice were selected to be one of 24 entrants to have a chance to represent Slovenia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2022.[3]

The band would win the third duel of the contest, beating out Neli Jerot's song "Magnum opus" to move on to the next weekly final round.[2]

The band would win the final of the contest, and as a result, is currently scheduled to represent Slovenia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2022.[4]
