Help on Tom Graves?

Hello, I'm looking for help with some updates to the Rep. Tom Graves article and I wonder if anyone active on this project might be willing to help. At present, some of the article sections are lacking in detail or WP:RS citations, or both. I also see a few areas where the wording does not conform to the cited source and / or is not encyclopedic. I'm seeking to address these issues. Worth noting, I am working as a consultant on behalf of Rep. Graves and, considering my financial COI, I won't make any direct edits to the article. What I have done instead is to propose suggested updates on the Talk page here. If anyone is able to review and make the changes as they feel are appropriate, I'd be very grateful. Bill passes House but...

There are two status changes that Template:Infobox United States federal proposed legislation doesn't seem to address. It is best explained with a real-life example.

During the the session of Congress that ended in January, the House passed the Innovation Act, an act to make changes to United States patent law, and sent it to the Senate for its consideration. The bill was under the jurisdiction of the Senate Committee on the Judiciary. Three steps were taken by the committee chairman:

1. In a reverse-omnibus of sorts, he split the Innovation Act into several bills, written by different senators
2. After a hearing that covered the subject matter in general, the committee chairman took changes to patent law off the Senate Judiciary Committee's agenda

Nothing else happened during the 113th United States Congress.

Under that situation, it would seem to me that these two steps should result in changes to the content of the Infobox, but I don't see how that would be done. Am I missing something, or does the infobox need some changes? Thanks in advance 68.165.77.140 (talk) 21:13, 1 March 2015 (UTC)

Naming of congressional district articles

I apologize if this is already documented somewhere and I've missed it, but I have a question about our naming conventions for congressional districts. According to the AP style guide, "congressional" is lowercase, unless it's part of a formal name. [1] Congressional district names are formal names. But we name our articles "Idahos' 1st congressional district," rather than "Idaho's 1st Congressional District." Any idea why? Champaign Supernova (talk) 01:28, 10 December 2014 (UTC)

A good point. Have they always been at their current location or were they moved? It could just be that the person who created the first few hadn't thought the capitalization out. – Philosopher ^{Let us reason together.} 23:48, 15 January 2015 (UTC)

I looked at a couple of congressional district articles, and it looks like they were all created with the lower-case naming convention (so they haven't been moved). It could just be path dependence. Standards for listing of religion for U.S. politicians, potential RfC

Why are the pages on each congressional district "stub class"? Suggestion

I am updating some pages for individual districts and I noticed they are rated "stub" class. But is this appropriate? The pages are pretty long and informative. PeterLFlomPhD (talk) 00:19, 29 July 2015 (UTC)

Actually, the disagreement is about the date Congressional terms ended prior to the ratification of the Twentieth Amendment in 1933. Czoal (talk) 23:22, 4 October 2015 (UTC)
