Evidence submitted by Catfish Jim and the soapdish

User:Dashing boy31 has an apparent interest in one Ankit Singh Gehlot, a non-notable pharmacy student from G.D Memorial College of Pharmacy, Jodhpur. He has also edited extensively on Gehlot's businesses and his family. He originally signed up in March 2008 to create an article R. H. Sankhala, whom he revealed was Gehlot's grandfather here, and submitted a photo of Sankhala File:RHSankhala.jpg, which lists Gehlot as the photographer.

User:AlexNewBritain has recently started the same pattern of editing, creating the article Ankit Singh Gehlot (previously created by User:Dashing boy31 and deleted CSD-A7), as well as BRSG Global Business Group, listing Gehlot as CEO.

User:Ankit Singh Gehlot, User:Ankitsingh2020 and User:Ankitjodhpur have all edited in the article R. H. Sankhala, and I have listed them for obvious reasons. User:Ankitkeru I have listed simply as an additional user with the name Ankit who has edited that article. Catfish Jim and the soapdish (talk) 10:37, 27 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

User:Dashing boy31 and his socks were indefinitely blocked for abusing multiple accounts on Nov 2. An article he had been working on (R. H. Sankhala) was deleted on Nov 3 by User:Ron Ritzman following normal AfD process (consensus was that subject was not notable). It was noted that the article was a memorial about the sockmaster's grandfather. User:27.107.186.238 complained about the deletion on Nov 4 to the deleting admin, and the article was placed in the article incubator. User:UnbeatableIndia2020 registered on Nov 5 and proceded to edit Wikipedia:Article Incubator/R. H. Sankhala. He has subsequently uploaded the article Ankit singh gehlot, the sockmaster's main focus before being blocked.

This seems to me like a clear case of WP:EVADE. Catfish Jim & the soapdish 14:22, 24 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I was looking at this after a post to my talk page. UnbeatableIndia2020 is editing from the same ranges as User:AlexNewBritain. Add in the editing overlaps and I'll say this is a  Likely match. No comment on the IP listed. TNXMan 14:33, 24 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

(edit conflict)  Clerk note: Blocked and tagged. It couldn't be easier than this when both accounts, Dashing boy31 and UnbeatableIndia2020 both identified where they live on their userpage.[1][2] OhanaUnitedTalk page 14:57, 24 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Suspected sockpuppets

User:Dashing boy31 is a user who has previously been blocked indefinitely for sockpuppetry on Wikipedia and has been subject to several subsequent SPIs. He has previously identified himself as Ankit Singh Gehlot, non-notable pharmacy student from Rajasthan. His activities on Wikipedia have been of a self-promotional nature, including an vanity article on himself Ankit Singh Gehlot, his non-notable business ventures (eg. Green India Initiative) and various family members, including his grandfather R. H. Sankhala, a non-notable biochemist. User:Prakashpanwar created his account shortly after User:Dashing boy31's third SPI was concluded. One of his first edits was to restore Green india initiative [4] and to insert "Shri A.S. Gehlot", founder of "Green India Initiative" as a notable person in Rajput Mali here: [5]. He has also restored the article R. H. Sankhala. It seems highly improbable that two unconnected people would choose to focus on the same non-notable subjects. Catfish Jim and the soapdish 11:51, 8 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately, all of the accounts in the archive are  Stale for checkuser purposes. TNXMan 13:20, 9 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Dashing boy31 has edited again, so maybe a checkuser could take another look at this? Jafeluv (talk) 09:22, 20 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Suspected sockpuppets

As evident in the archive of this SPI, master is a person by the name Ankit Singh Gehlot. The puppet has re-created an article for the same subject, but now he is a poet, and blogger. Ankit Singh (writer).

In the archive, it is explained how the master also created articles about his family members, including his grandfather R. H. Sankhala. This time, he has created an article about his father Kapil Singh Sankhala, where it is mentioned that Kapil is son of RH Sankhala.

A few months back dashing boy requested to be unblocked, which hasnt been assessed yet. Now this sleeper has woken up. Archive shows there were multiple accounts being handled at the same time, hence requesting a CU. —usernamekiran(talk) 05:47, 15 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
