    Shortcuts

    Requests for undeletion is a process intended to assist users in two cases. The first case is restoring pages or files that were uncontroversially deleted via proposed deletion, under certain speedy deletion criteria (such as maintenance deletions (G6) or stale Articles for creation drafts (G13)), or in deletion debates with little or no participation other than the nominator. In the second use case, this page is also intended to serve as a central location to request that deleted content be "userfied", i.e., restored as a draft or emailed to you; this way, the content can be improved upon prior to re-insertion into the mainspace, or used elsewhere (you may also make a request directly to one of the administrators listed here). Be clear as to which namespace is intended, when requesting the restoration of a deleted article.

    This means that content deleted after discussion – through deletion processes – may in some cases be provided to you, but such controversial page deletions will not be overturned through this process but through deletion review instead. Copyright violations and attack pages will not be provided.

    Do not request that pages or media deleted under speedy deletion criteria F7, F9, F11, U5, A7, A9, A11, G3, G4, G10, G11 or G12 be undeleted here.

    • This isn't what I was requesting User:Graeme Bartlett. I'm not trying to improve the article itself, but expand the section at the redirect target. Couldn't the edit history be merged back into the redirect? I must say though, I'm surprised that the article is as complete as it is - though obviously missing the more notable events since the AFD.     • I thought there was a way to merge the history. But on the other hand, looking at that draft, it's in far better shape than I expected.     • The content was "Sarah Hellings directed the 1985 doctor who episode mark of the rani." and the reason given for deletion was A3: Article that has no meaningful, substantive content. It was deleted by PMDrive1061 on 2010 about 11 years ago. PMDrive1061 is inactive so no use contesting it with them. The page only lasted 1 minute, not a whole day. Nowadays it would be deleted as a BLPPROD after 1 week due to lack of references. Perhaps User:Dalek45 could recreate it with at least one reference.     I believe that my article should be undeleted as I have referenced Lance correctly in my article, I would also like to spread the information about Lance as he does have an inspiring story in some ways and is a well known composer in the Forza community, let alone the racing video game community.     Expanding would not have helped when the concern was notability. The PROD concern was: Not satisfying WP:ENTERTAINER which notes actors must have a significant number of major significant works, and not trivial background characters but examining his filmography shows only temporary or limited-time characters in a larger pool of other works as "Sergeant", "Guard", etc. and, as all notability standards list, there's no inherited notability from others.     This is a Russian news agency. There was an uncontested PROD in 2010 ("Promotional article about a news agency with little evidence of notability.") While updating a citation in 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine ([2]) I found that the article I would have linked to did not exist, and when I tried to create it, that it had previously been deleted. The agency is more relevant now than it may have been in 2010 and there are subsequent events with associated reliable sources which can be included in the article. Please restore it in case there is relevant content in the previous version (I have no idea) and so we can retain a complete revision history. If creating the article from scratch (which I can of course do if you prefer) I would start with a translation of ru:Росбалт and then add further content supported by reliable sources.     Article has been replaced with a redirect to The Celebrity Circle as Saffron Barker was not considered individually notable as per Wikipedia notability guidelines, despite her popularity on social media and appearances in multiple mainstream broadcast media. I suspect that this was due to insufficient referencing in the original article and bias of various contributors. I would like to suggest that the article may need tidying and updating, but should be undeleted. For reference, every other contestant on both Barker’s series of Strictly Come Dancing (series 17) and The Celebrity Circle have dedicated pages.
