An article you recently created, Rensselaer Environmental Coalition, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs prose content with citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Information icon Hello. I wanted to let you know that in your recent contributions to Draft:Michael Stammel, you seemed to act as if you were the owner of the page. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to Wikipedia. This means that editors do not own articles, including ones they create, and should respect the work of their fellow contributors. If you create or edit an article, remember that others are free to change its content. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. KidAdSPEAK 20:14, 7 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Even though editors can never "own" an article, it is important to respect the work and ideas of your fellow contributors. Therefore, be cautious when removing or rewriting large amounts of content, particularly if this content was written by one editor; it is more effective to try to work with the editor than against them—even if you think they are acting as if they "own" the article. You are deleting large amounts of content for no reason. The Mayor's political career information as well as education is posted right on the City's webpage under the Mayor's bio section. That information is referenced in the article. You are giving no reason for the large deletions. Dellis12144 (talk) 20:15, 7 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Feel free to start a discussion on the article's talk page, but edit warring your changes is not an acceptable method for improving this page. The revision you have attempted to restore has two empty sections and three non-notable positions in the infobox. It also has an unsourced birth date, birth place, and education. I suggest you attempt to find some sources for the information, or it will not be listed on the page. KidAdSPEAK 20:18, 7 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I moved the page to draft space so I can work on it. I invite help but to remove large amounts of content with no reason is not acceptable. It is a draft. Can I move the draft to only my draft space and then once I update the information resubmit to public draft space for review? Dellis12144 (talk) 20:24, 7 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
It may be helpful for you to review WP:DRAFT before moving forward. As that page explains, Anyone, including users who are not logged in, may create and edit drafts. So feel free to make necessary changes to the draft, but I do not think the page will meet WP:NPOL, even if it is drastically improved. KidAdSPEAK 20:35, 7 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I am not understanding about adding citations in an infobox section, I've never seen any other pages do that. I've included links under the references for source of information. Dellis12144 (talk) 21:46, 7 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You do not need to add citations to the infobox. But you do to the article. I am not seeing a citation for his birth date, birth place, or education. If that information is not sourced, it will be removed. KidAdSPEAK 21:52, 7 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
If you do not need citations for the infobox, why do you keep deleting information from the infobox? Dellis12144 (talk) 21:56, 7 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Under Reference it says: Source for Mayor's personal information. This is from the city website, Mayor's biography. It lists where he attended college, his career with the County Legislature as well as other details used in this article. I am not understanding the reasons for deletion when the items in the infobox are cited under Reference. Dellis12144 (talk) 22:06, 7 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Positions were deleted from the infobox because they are not notable. They do not contribute to WP:NPOL, which is a guideline used to determine the notability of political figures. Also, you cannot just slap links at the bottom of a page and call it good. Things like birth dates need inline citations. Please see WP:REFB on how to do that. Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Michael Stammel. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. As you've been told once already, you may not move an article into draft while the article is at AfD. Onel5969 TT me 12:36, 8 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You are wrong again. That is not true that you may not move an article into draft while the article in at AfD. While there is no prohibition against moving an article while an AfD or deletion review discussion is in progress, editors considering doing so should realize such a move can confuse the discussion greatly.... Dellis12144 (talk) 12:46, 8 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Your edits are disruptive and do not help to strengthen the article. You are not following proper protocol to determine that an article should really be submitted for deletion. Dellis12144 (talk) 12:48, 8 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
