Mahavatar Babaji Nagraj

With the most uptodate authentic first hand experience reveleations about this great Yogi by living yogi Sri M in his autobiography " Apprenticed to Himalayan Master-Autobiograhy of a Yogi".There are atleast 3 occassions Sri M had direct experience with Babaji narrated in his book. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kgm.amogh (talkcontribs) 06:56, 26 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

A note on age and dates

"In his book The Second Coming of Christ, Yogananda states that Jesus Christ went to India and conferred with Mahavatar Babaji. This would make Babaji at least 2000 years old."

Just a note - Ahmadi Muslims among others believe Jesus lived to one hundred and twenty years. While this is still at odds with the given birth date of 203 CE, it does mean the quoted sentence above should read "almost" 2000 years old rather than "at least" 2000 years old.

"Cave" section needs a bit of love and care

Hi, I'm new to editing Wikipedia. I noticed that the "cave" section of this article requires a lot of editing to make it appropriate for Wikipedia community standards. I hope someone can help with the tone and sourcing of that section. Let me know if I didn't flag it right--just learning based on documentation. Thanks!--Annika Skunkhaus (talk) 03:41, 11 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The language of the lead (and the rest of the article.)

The language of much of this article is written from the POV of a believer in the divinity of Babaji. Since Wikipedia is, by definition NPOV, I "neutralized" the lead, leaving information intact. Tapered (talk) 03:57, 5 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Birth place

We do not think birth place of Mahavatar Babaji was Tamilnadu. It my be ,may not be. No such thing was mentioned in Auto Biography of a Yogi. Later some Tamilians forcibly make people assume that Babji was born in Tamilnadu so and so. Because there is no mention of any place in Auto biography of a yogi, we can not take Tamilnadu as birth place of Babaji for granted. (On the other hand Tamilnadu as well as other states/regions of India have equal weightage of being birth place of Mahavatar Babaji). So I am not playing any regional biasedness card here.

First and foremost KRIYA tradition is of Shyamacharan,Yukteshwar,Yogananada, Pranavananda,Panchanana trdition.we rely on their facts.
