Darren Watkins Jr, (born January 21, 2003 or 2005) Better known as IShowSpeed (or simply Speed or Speedy), is an American YouTube live streamer and rapper.
Career
IShowSpeed created his YouTube channel on March 21, 2016,[1] and originally uploaded videos of him playing games such as Fortnite and NBA 2K21.[2] He also formerly streamed on Twitch, but was banned for sexual intimidation after a stream of Adin Ross's E-Date show where Watkins asked the guest, model Ash Kash, if she would reproduce with him if the two were the only people left on Earth. After Kash declined, IShowSpeed intimidatingly repeated "Who gonna stop me?"[3] The clip went viral shortly after and he was banned from the streaming site on December 14, 2021.[4]
IShowSpeed released his first single, "Dooty Booty" on his YouTube channel on August 24, 2021. Following its upload, the song quickly became popular on YouTube and other social media sites such as TikTok.[5]
