Mark James is one of EUFA’s newest additions to their list of category 3 referee’s. He is yet to take charge of any UEFA schedule listing games and is yet to appear as a match official at a professional level. Mark James has been added to a list of UEFA officials who are eligible to be selected to take charge of matches in various countries across the continent. Mark James was described by his own football association as “one of the most gifted young match officials seen at his level for an incredible amount of time with all the potential to be able to reach the top of the game”. Mark James is known for his straight talking style of officiating as well as his incredibly low tolerance level. This is something which has resulted in a high number of cautions on his record as well sending-offs. It is thought this record has not put off the authorities at the higher end levels of the game who instead see the match official as “a one to watch for the future”. Mark James has at this moment in time protected his own personal right to privacy and so therefore any personal details about his life are currently unavailable with very little knowledge about him made public.
