Revised Intro Paragraph
Media Studies focuses on the study of mass media in a sociological, psychological, historic viewpoint. [1]This field attempts to understand the influence media has on culture, technology, and institutions.[2] Media Studies incorporates influences from sociology, history, communication, anthropology, and political science with careers in Global, Media Law, and Digital Studies.[3] Masters Programs for Media Studies were first introduced in the United States by John Culkin in 1975 at The New School. I thought this paragraph was written very well. It did sound very similar to the definition on the main page for Media Studies. I would edit some sentences so it sounds more original. All of the sources worked and seem to be reliable. One thing I have to add concerning the references is adding links to the references. It’s easy for people to click on the links to see if the source is credible rather than looking up the article’s name and looking for it on whatever search engine people use. The paragraph was very neutral and got straight to the point it was very informative. There’s a lot of room for improvement but I think you’ll definitely be able to do it and create something people will use for their research. Arianna.fr (talk) 01:39, 25 October 2021 (UTC)
